Term 2 Week 10 2024
Week 10
With two school days left for the term, it’s timely I use the opportunity to thank our staff for their commitment and efforts over this term. Teachers spend a considerable amount of time planning, assessing and adjusting their pedagogy to suit the needs of our students. I thank our high performing team for all that they do to ensure every child is learning and thriving. Thank you also to our students for their efforts. Lastly a big thank you to parents/carers for all that you do to prepare your child for school each day and for partnering with us in education. I’m hoping our entire school community gets some time to rest, relax and spend time with loved ones. Here’s to a safe school return on Monday 8 July.
Unfortunately, school holidays often make schools the target of break ins or graffiti. We need the help of our school community to report anything of a suspicious nature. Please phone 13 17 88 . It would also be appreciated if parents/carers could deter their child, including high school children, from entering school grounds.
This week we are part way through holding our school athletic carnivals. A huge thank you to our PE team, Mr Hills, Mr Newell, Mrs Fuller, Mr Lisha for their efforts. A lot of behind-the-scenes planning goes into these seamless events.
NAIDOC
A reminder out Whole School NAIDOC Assembly will occur on Friday 21 June (Week 10).
This year’s NAIDOC theme is ‘Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud’. NAIDOC week occurs from 7-14 July.
Thank you to our First Nation Champions and Ms O’Brian for organising our whole school parade. We look forward to celebrating our First Nations students and families.

Report Cards will be issued via email on Wednesday 10 July. These will also be available to view on Qparents.
