Accelerated Reader
Congratulations to Franco, who recently reached AR 9.0. This is the very top of AR and is an extraordinary achievement! Franco can now continue his AR journey, but can read lots of different levels. We are sure he will continue to read and quiz. Congratulations Franco!
Book Week Competition
To celebrate Book Week we are holding a special competition linked to the Book Week theme ‘Dreaming with your eyes open’. We have a great range of prizes on display in the Hub and would love everyone to enter!
Premier’s Reading Challenge
Don’t forget that all completed PRC forms should be returned to the Hub as soon as possible. The challenge continues until 26 August.
National Science Week 2022 is Coming!
Across Australia from the 13-21 August, students will be participating in our National Science Week and that includes Mango Hill State School. To celebrate National Science Week, we will be offering many activities over the course of the week. Our lunchtime clubs will be showcasing some amazing experiments and will allow our students to participate in some hands-on STEM activities. More information to come!
Code Camp is at Mango Hill State School!
In Code Camp’s Animation course students will create movies from scratch using stop-motion animation with LEGO and clay! Stop-motion is the process of taking multiple images of objects and stitching them together to look like they’re moving - it’s an incredibly fun and creative way to tell a story!
It's so much fun each week, children don't realise they're learning important concepts.
Spots are limited, book now.
