Week 10 Fn Coming Up!

We are looking forward to some wonderful events coming up in Year 1 next week.

Junior Sports Day - Monday

We will start the week on Monday with our Junior Sports Day.  The Year 1 rotations will begin in the middle session.  Our students have been doing a wonderful job in PE learning all the events and will be ready to show off their skills during our sprint, high jump, long jump and novelty race rotations.  It’s going to be an action packed session out in the sun so please be sure that your child has their school hat and named water bottle ready for the day.

Four Cares Fun Fair Celebrations - Tuesday

On Tuesday we will celebrate the Four Cares with our Year 1 Fun Fair Celebrations.  Our teachers have planned some wonderful activities for this session including Knock ‘em Downs; Hula Hoop; Scissor, Paper, Rock game and Clear the Bean Bags.  We can’t wait for the fun! 

NAIDOC Week Mural Painting - Friday

For NAIDOC week this year, every student across the school will take part in creating a mural led by local Indigenous artist, Wendy Rix.  Our Year 1s will work with their Year 6 buddies to add their fingerprints to the mural on Friday of Week 10.  What a wonderful way to celebrate our First Nations Australians.  We look forward to seeing the finished product on display in our new building!
