Don't Forget Your Hat!
School photos this week and our Preppies looked fabulous in their school uniforms. Thank you to parents for ensuring your child was in full school uniform for their school photo. We’d love to see all students continue to wear all of the correct uniform items each day; all black school shoes and correct colour hair ties and bows.
We’re doing a bit of a reminder blitz for hats right now in Prep as there are a small group of students in each room who consistently come to school without their hat. In our Queensland weather, wearing a hat outdoors is important for safety. Please support us, by checking your child is wearing their hat to and from school. It’s great for sun safety and also to ensure they leave the house with their hat on and they return to their house with their hat on!
In English we are working hard to improve our sentences when we write and to ensure we are reading for meaning in our reading groups. In maths, we are working hard to solve open ended questions. Sometimes, there’s many correct answers to problems! Take a look at our Prep M friends, who were very excited to solve an open-ended problem about animals and legs.

Have a lovely week.
