Book Week
Later this term we will celebrate Book Week. The theme for this year is ‘Old worlds, New worlds, Other worlds’ and to acknowledge all of the worlds we visit while reading we are holding a special Book Week Competition. We have lots of great prizes (which you can see on display in the Hub) and we look forward to receiving lots of entries. All entries should be delivered to the Hub by Monday 23 August.
Don’t forget that all Premier’s Reading Challenge forms need to be returned by the end of August.
Special thank you to everyone who supported our Book Fair last week. We were very excited to have taken almost $6000 in sales, which means we are able to choose more than $1500 worth of free books for our school. We look forward to ordering and receiving these in the coming weeks.
Accelerated Reader
It has been super to see so many students borrowing and reading as they progress towards their AR goals! This week we were very excited to celebrate with three of our super readers - Areesha, Avery and Franco. They each reached 2 million words! We have proudly added their photos to our special AR Millionaire Display. Great work Areesha, Avery and Franco!

Have a fabulous week.
