Book Week This term we will celebrate all things books with two exciting events. The first will be our annual Book Fair which will open from Friday 16 August until Wednesday 21 August. The Book Fair will be open in the mornings from 8am until 3.30pm every afternoon. We’d love to see you there – to have a look at all the special things on sale and perhaps to purchase something too. We will have EFTPOS facilities and will also accept cash. Another exciting part of our Book Week celebrations will be our special Book Week competition. All students from Prep to Year 6 are welcome to enter and there will be some fabulous prizes on offer! Museum display This week in the Hub we have some items on loan from the Qld Museum, reminding us of how things have changed. Do you remember getting your news from a wireless or from a mini television set? Pop on down to have a look and see some other relics from the past! " /> school_reader_record_form _pdf 112.60 KB

Supporting Wellbeing During Assessment

As students take part in assessment, we encourage families to focus on wellbeing as much as learning. Assessments are simply one tool to show progress and understanding, but they are only one part of the bigger picture. You can support your child by encouraging plenty of rest, healthy routines, and positive reassurance. A calm, balanced approach helps children feel confident and ready to show what they know.

Our teachers are here to support, so we encourage you to check in about your child’s progress and next steps.

Calling all volunteers!

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who helped out last week. If you have an hour to spare on Monday-Thursday, anytime between 8:30am-12:30pm, please drop in and help us cover some new books and student resources. We appreciate your support!

Have a fantastic week.
