CASH!

In Year 1 we’re working with money and we’re loving it! Give us all the cash please parents!

When we go to the shops with you, please give us coins and notes to give to the shop keeper because WE LOVE buying things at shops. Each class has a buying shop situation right now and it’s possibly the reason we are getting up in the mornings.

Everyone loves money, right?

In this cashless society it can be tricky for our children to know the value of money. When we tap and go or order online, our children don’t see how much of our money is being spent - and let’s face it, the money is mostly on them!

We need to work together to ensure our children deeply understand the value of coins and notes because real world experience is the best type of experience!

We’d love to see some pictures up in our classrooms of our students out and about in the real world, using money. Send them in to our teachers!
